I have had multiple pairs of heated mittens before and usually they are only heated in the palm area, so when these gloves came I was excited to find out that these also heat around the fingers as well. The construction of the gloves felt nice, stitchings looks solid and the hard knuckle plate feels sturdy as well. The battery compartment was nice, doesn't really affect mobility and is in a nice enough area to avoid getting soaked. What I didn't like about the gloves are that the size do fit slightly smaller, so make sure you buy 1 size up. If you typically wear a medium, go for a large. Also the gloves aren't as waterproof as I would've liked it to be. I bought some waterproofing spray for the gloves and they work relatively well, but still not perfect. Overall the gloves do perform well, and makes sledding a much more enjoyable experience. Eliminating the need for thick mitts.
