Let me start off by saying my headline was to hopefully attract attention for this review because I really like these gloves & the # of star's I am seeing on some of there products has me curious; as for me & not to "brag" about myself, $, or lack of it & the fact I have been riding a long time from the track to present day sport street. I got these gloves at a ridiculously low cost. Not sure if it was open box ? They weren't used & arrived in undamaged, original packaging. I use my phone for most everything & I seldom am able to find size charts on Amazon when it comes to gear. I am 6'4, 220 lbs. It's real difficult to find almost anything, with foot wear being the exception, because of my build. Unfortunately, no universal sizing system in place & with so many companies in several countries, it's difficult buying gear on line unless you are able to try it on @ a local box store first. I liked the Pilot description. At the time, they had 3 stars and reviews. With what I spent & knowing I could return them, it was a win, win, for me, that I feel turned out better ! 3x was the largest available, idk if they produce anything larger? I knew from experience within short time of receiving and opening these gloves, I had a winner on my hand, atleast size wise ! Just one portion of many factors when purchasing gloves. More common than not, I will think they fit & after some use or some shrinking has occurred the reality sets in that I once again acted impilulsively & feel like a blood pressure cuff got stuck on my arm and have everything from pins & needles, to all out numbness in my fingers ! Anyone riding knows any unneeded distraction is one too many + I'm being serious; I should mention I also have " tennis elbow" so when I say numb, it can be to a dangerous level ! Not the case with these !!! I'm quite pleased with the fit. The quality, i.m.o. & about a 1,000 miles on a Zx-14 of which I don't ride in the "Touring" class (not that anything is wrong with that, again, trying to provide some detail so other's can make a decision based on my expirience) They take a little longer than most to "Break in", the stitching is almost immaculate & doubled in the high stress, more worn areas. Reinforcement is well placed and follows the formula with the rest of the glove of being made with quality material. I don't write many reviews. It's a joint account. I am very passionate about 2 wheels & have averaged 15k the past 2 seasons in New England where we are lucky to get 8 Months tops & the rain this July & August (18') took several days off the calendar. Imo, overall for the $50 price point I think these usually sell for, unless you find a close out deal or blem's with a co. Like A. Star, J. Rocket, maybe E.v.s., or an equivalent major, established company, so far (I feel an entire season is truly needed for an accurate review as longevity and durability are another vital factor, imo, especially for gloves ! They have great feel, are very well made. COMFORTABLE. And, reinforced properly, in the areas that should be. If you have ridden track or had the unfortunate experience of going down, you know first hand the pain and horror's that can, and usually are, inflicted ! It's how are brain's are wired when you go from fine, seated and ridding, too not so fine, and sliding uncontrollably, frantically scrambling, trying to control your outcome. Generally, with little or no affect. Without gloves, I'll just say, hamburger. With quality gloves and other quality gear, the odds are much, much, stronger of having a more favorable outcome. That being, the ability and opportunity to ride another day. Maybe not the immediate next day, but I think you get my point. This "distracted driving" epidemic we are seeing in my area, is really scary to me ! I recommend these gloves and those wondering; they are far from bulky & they arent "thin" if I need to press a larger button on the screen of my phone when I am stopped, the touch screen does respond ! Not perfect & that is probably because I have large paws and a small phone, but it will work on a modern android touch screen. WHATEVER you do, if you are riding a motorcycle you dont need to spend $400 on Italian racing gloves (hey; If youv'e got it like that more power to you!) Just PLEASE purchase and USE well rated, quality, well maintained gear at all times for each and every ride ! It's those 5 minute "trip around the block" when the bad one's tend to happen. I hope this is helpful & everyone ridding, stay safe ! Everyone driving, please look twice for motorcycle's & stay safe !Incredible quality gloves. Pilot is a subsidiary of Suzuki bikes, and the finishing of these truly surprised me. Top notch mesh, calf leather and carbon fibre knuckles. The fitting is fairly standard - I use L normally and the L here fit me great. I've used them for close to 2000 miles now and they are very comfortable. I use them in 80-90 degree conditions, and the mesh keeps my hands cool. The only issue is that with repeated usage the velcro part of the base has started coming out slightly. Hope they don't peel out all the way.I just ordered a second pair - that should say enough. They are comparable to much higher priced Joe Rocket gloves. And every once in a while one of the colours is priced rock bottom here on Amazon (maybe they are trying to promote them). Works for me - steal of a deal. This is a great pair of gloves that should save my hands should I go down in a slide. They fit well and feel good. My only negative would be that I can't use the touchscreen on my phone.Arrived in two days. Fit perfectly if not a tad tight as expected. Once oiled and broken in they will be perfect. The quality is outstanding! Examining them up close reveals tight stitching, well sealed bonds, very supple calf leather palms. I bought these to match my Pilot jacket (another outstanding product!). The finger vents actually work (at highway speed of course). It was 85 degrees out and my hands were fine. The fingers, Palm , and the knuckles this gloves are W knuckles this gloves are well made.. The only problem with this grove is it falling apart around the wristNot a very well made glove, I'm probably going to donate these to the local MSF program. The seams are huge and on the inside of the fingers. Better go with a name brand and pay a little more.Great gloves. Fit as expected. Quality product. Not worth $45. I expected this glove to last at least a year but they didnt even last 1 month of riding before part of the stitchings came off. This glove gave my hand and palm blacl paint the first day i rode on my bike with it. It kept doing that till about the month the stitching started coming apart.
