Our New Trail glove is the perfect outdoor glove for kids. The all neoprene design is soft and flexible. Neoprene gloves are not seam sealed, so water does enter some. But since they are neoprene, they warm hands up like a wetsuit, allowing kids to get their hands wet while fishing, hunting, or just playing around in the water, keeping them nice and warm. They are well made, and stretchy for growing hands.
Our favorite children's gloves! The soft, flexible, neoprene fabric is warm and molds perfectly to their small hands. The elastic Velcro strap ensures a good fit and keeps the water, mud, or snow out. Our six kids have worn these gloves during a variety of activities, from hiking to yard work, gardening and playing in the mud, exploring tide pools at the beach and building snow men, and they still look brand new, even the pairs we have had for over a year. Extremely durable, warm, and waterproof. My favorite part is how slim and flexible they are--I have small to average sized hands for a woman and I have been known to borrow the bigger kids' gloves myself. They are so well designed that I am able to have full use of my fingers while staying warm and dry.My son is 7 years old. He's at the age where mittens are NOT something that he wants to wear, yet gloves are frustrating because of the bulk and difficulty for him to get them on.These worked perfect. They offer him more protection than the knit stretch gloves that he likes, so he can actually play in the snow! They keep his hands from getting wet and offer a decent amount of warmth. They will not be as warm as a nice pair of snow gloves, but they are great!My children play hard during the winter, so my wife and I needed gloves that would hold up to rough wear. In other words, we don't just need a pair of gloves that will keep my kids warm while waiting for the bus; we need gloves that will stand up to shoveling snow for snow forts, building ramps for sled runs, building snow men, and other winter activities. Not only have these gloves kept my children's hands warm and dry, but they have held up to all the abuse that my children can dish out. The gloves seem to be well constructed and high quality.These gloves run a little big, my kids are 3,5,7 and the small are a little big on my 7 year old. She is on the small side but just wanted to let others know to judge size. The gloves are awesome and I bought all 3 sizes to see the difference. The medium is not much bigger than the small and same with the large to medium. The gloves will get wet if you fall in a puddle of water but do a good job keeping hands warm.My son refused to wear gloves when he started outdoor preschool until I found these. They fit his smaller hands and are both warm and wind & water resistant and easily hand-washable as he gets both soaked and very muddy playing outside. Bonus they are easy for me to help put on! They are going strong into year-two of outdoor school here in the Pacific Northwest! Can’t tighten them around either of my sons wrists.Purchased a small for an average sized new 3 year old. They are huge and likely not to fit him for 2 more years. Quality seems great (have other oakiwear products and love them) just disappointed XS wasn't an option. They will sit in a bin somewhere until he grows or I forget about them
