These are just what I was looking for, unfortunately they only lasted for approx five canyons. These are warm and dexterous which is great for canyoning but they just wouldn't stand up to the abuse. We used these in Ouray, CO and Zion NP, UT in extremely wet and cold canyons. After the last rappel in Imlay, three fingers on the right glove were completely shot.Gloves are super tough. They fit well on my large hands and the velcro strap keeps them securely attached. Only 4 stars because they slip on the rope. I guess the price to pay for using Kevlar. These are total crap. The kevlar part holds up at least for a little bit, sure, but it seems like they stitched it using regular old thread. Literally, they fell apart after my second rappel in a reasonably smooth canyon. Don't trust these things; they're not worth it at any price.Way too stiff to use for anything; no dexterity.I bought these gloves through a third party because I could get a awesome discount. I was quickly disappointed as they TORE the first time using them straight out of the bag. I was told that if I wanted a refund I needed to contact Kong directly. I sent multiple emails over the past month and have yet to receive a response.Besides the fact that my gloves tore & poor customer service by KONG I still would not recommend these gloves. They are extremely stiff limiting your function & use of hands while rigging ropes. The fact is canyoneering is rough on your gear & your going to go through gear every year regardless of what product you buy.Poor quality with stitching pulled and gaping in places. Sizing not accurate. Sent back but beware if costs in shipping.
