These gloves are very warm. Tested them in the low 30's last night, and my hands never got even chilled. Stayed entirely warm. They do run small. Mine are pretty tight, ordered a large, based on the measurement instructions. I would go one size larger. They will work, just very tight. Maybe they will loosen up with extended use. The reason for the 4 stars was the size. The only real con, and it should be expected, with these type of gloves. They are very bulky. These are not meant for fine tasks. You wont be shooting weapons, or handling screws with these. Not striking any matches, or anything similar. You can use your fingers, but for anything fine, prepare to take them off.I'm taking them camping this weekend, so ill see how they old up.Inner is MUCH SMALLER THAN GLOVE.Have not had cold enough weather here to test these gloves but the one thing I will say is they are small for their labeled size so you need to order the next bigger size to fit properly and even that is snug. Also, for those who want to "buy American" these are made in Pakistan. The label is sewn (hidden) down inside the gloves so you need to look for it.I purchased these for winter motorcycle riding. First, it is very difficult to get my pinky in the glove. Second, I wore to work and froze my fingers (42^). I will returnDon’t fit properlythese gloves were at least 1" too long in the fingers, for the price of them they should have been American made not Pakistan junk. I would not recommend theseThey ae true to size and are awesome.I ordered xl because the reviews said that they run small. The only thing small is the right pinky which is tight. Not worth the aggravation of exchanging. Order your normal size and hope the lining is cut right. I expect better from Rothco. Update. The large arrived today and they fit perfectly. No issues with the pinky, must have been a defect during manufacturing of the xl.
