I love these. They really kept my hands warm and dry after hours of sledding and playing in the snow. The gauntlet worked great at keeping the snow out of my sleeves and they have an easy to use drawstring that cinches them up with one-handed operation. They are ergonomically curved like a hand rests naturally, so there's not a bunch of excess material in your palm when you need to grip something. They do run a little small. I usually find a mediums too small and a larges too big. I ordered these in a large and they fit me perfectly--snug enough to allow dexterity but not so big that they have excessively long finger tips. I would recommend most people order a size larger that they usually would buy in gloves. There are a lot of things I like about these gloves, but they disappoint where it matters most.I'm an avid cyclist, and rely on my bike for transportation in all seasons. These gloves are not as warm as what I would expect from both this company and this price point.Pros:-Great grip-Double drawstring ensures tight seal-Fancy silver dots feel real niceCons:-Not very warm, nor windproof-Fancy silver dots do nothingI got these in XL. I normally wear a large so reading the reviews I went up a size. The left glove fit like a second skin. The right one was sown improperly inside so I couldn't even get it on my hand. I'm returning them, and will keep you posted as to what all happens. I just printed off the return label, and will be shipping them out soon.what they call L will fit my 13 year old, but not me, (6' 2")the sizing on these gloves is 2 numbers below what you'd thinkfor example what they call XL is actually barely Lfor reference, i got a pair of gloves from dakine, size XL and to be honest they would correspond to an XXL on theseI am a guy with what I consider small hands. I ordered A MEDIUM, because typically that would do the job.I was barely able to fit them on my hands! I gave them away to avoid the hassle of returning them. The company does a bad job sizing and or explaining the size. The reviews did not help so I hope mine does for anyone considering them. The look and feel are cool, and they "seem" like they would be warm. Stylish yes. Costly, yes.If you are a man with regular man sized hands, forget these gloves unless you can purchase an XL or XXL.I held off on a higher rating as I am waiting to get a replacement before I even get to use them. Be careful when ordering, the sizes run small (a medium fits like a small). I am waiting on a Large size now to try them.I bought these for the ski season and after two days on the mountain I noticed that they were beginning to fray around the edges and the stitching was loosening around the cuffs. By the third day the tightening string snapped while putting them back on. They were fine for the warmer days (25-30 degrees) but were useless when the temps dropped into the teens. I have since had to buy new gloves after only having these for a week. These gloves are great as long as you are not going to spend more than 15 minutes outside. Anything past that my hands got cold and I switched to my other Columbia gloves that had more insulation. I thought the omniheat would make a difference but did not. The fit was very good. After a couple weeks of wearing they are good for running errands. Just not for shoveling. These are quite small fitting; all my previous gloves (north face, el cheapos from Decathlon sports shop, burton) have been x-large and fitted really well. These do fit but the fingers seem a lot shorter and movement is therefore restricted.I bought Columbia due to their reputation for good quality cold weather gear, so I will give them a shot and see how they perform.Needed something to keep my hands warm while at the football .Tried a few different pairs of gloves but these are by far the best do what they say they do excellent product. My Hands are warm and dryInterieur en matiere plastique. Le gant n evacue pas la chaleur, toujours les mains moite. Tres desagreable. Gants mis à la poubelle apres la premiere journee de ski.
