I purchased a pair about a year ago and this is my second pair. The first pair I wore all the time and therefore put more wear than normal, and sometimes had to stitch them. However, this pair I received 2-9-14 already needs about one inch stitching on the right wrist after putting them on the third time. No problem for me, but if more stitching comes loose in other places from normal wear I'll have to return them. Otherwise, I am quite satisfied. I think I may order the gloves designed for arthritis as they may be more suited for my finger that locks from time to time ("trigger finger") . Please note: I get steroid injections for that finger and gloves themselves are not a cure; they keep the hands warm and along with a weight lifting glove, help protect and restrain the 'trigger finger' on that hand'. -RPI have a condition call dermtillomania and thought that these comression glove would be an intervention that could be worn long term. Well i was RIGHT!!! It immediatly it worked for me. I loved the fit. i could wear them all day long with minimal discomfort. i could use the touch screen on my phone and ipad. I was so pleased. But after only 7 days the stitching by the palm started to separate and there is now a moderate sized hole. i have not decided if i want to replace them or try a different brand. My dilema is that there are not that many full fingered compression gloves available on the market.Update: i contacted the company to inform them of my experience. They were quick to respond but said that If you placed your order through Amazon, the Tommie Copper Customer Service team will have no record of your order or any record of your transaction.Inquiries regarding your order should be thru Amazon Customer Service. So basically...You bought it from Amazon, its their problem. I quickly responded that i wasn't contacting you to get a refund or exchange. I was contacting you to inform you that the quality of your product has come into question. Again they were quick to respond, AGAIN i was "encouraged" to contact Amazon for refund/exchange and told that their policies do cover product when sold by a distributor. WHAT?!? Almost every company sells through a distributor. So now that tells me that once it leaves their factory door...its not their problemThey are indeed small. Difficult to put on my gnarled and lumpy arthritic fingers, but, once on, comforting and comfortable. i don't find the funny-colored tips to the thumb and index finger either useful or attractive, and the finger tip is hard to get on.I have to take one off when I go to the bathroom at night, and there's no way I'm going to wrestle it back on again. They do reduce pain and swelling. I can't type in them, or turn the pages of a book, but I can read my Kindle.I'm glad I have them, but I would prefer not to have arthritis.Gloves were marvelous, my hand felt much better but the second day i wore the glove the side seam started to come apart. Wanted to trade for another pair but Amazon said they were out of stock, so just got my money back. Ordered new ones direct from Tommy Copper. Same price. Also, gloves not as long in the wrist as picture indicates. Disappointed in Amazon as well as Tommy Copper. Amazon could have said would have more in stock by date and would ship then and Tommy because of quality. New pair holding up so far.Needs to be an Extra Small size....just not tight enough on my small hands to do any compressing, but I can easily type and pickup most items when wearing these....also I would not complain if the gloves extended up the arm toward elbow combining a sleeve and glove as a unit...I am sure it would be worth the additional cost when combined and 2 less pieces to keep from losing when not being used...I have the gloves that have the cut off fingers so I bought these to support my fingers better. These are a little bulkier than the other ones and I dont like them as well. I can wear the cut off fingers gloves and even forget I have them on. They really help my sore hands!Very soothing for hand and finger pain. I have numbness and pain in both hands/fingers, These are the only thing I have found (including medications) that provide some relief. I put 4 stars because they are cheaper on the Tommiecopper web page, free shipping there also.Very disappointed with the quality and workmanship with these!! I have had them for less than 5 days and they are already falling apart, I have not worn about 30% during the day time hours. The sad thing is they seem to really help with the pain in my hands. It says that the material was made American and sewn and cut in China it is to bad they weren't made in America maybe they would hold up better.
