My husband usually wears a large but based on the reviews I bought him extra large. When we got them, he wasn't sure he would like them, they are stiff and the fit is a little odd. He finely decided to use them and now he loves them. They protect his hands and he's very impressed with the durability.I am going to keep these gloves. The fabric used in them are absolutely first rate … multi-layer Swiss Schoeller fabric, including Cordura, Kevlar and a breathable/weatherproof layer. And the Kevlar covers everywhere you might wear through a glove. However, I will be wearing them in the house, trying to "break them in" for a long time before they go outside. I am a size large in the majority of gloves I wear, with long and thin-medium width fingers. I bought XL and had the hardest time getting my fingers in the finger slots; and now I hope the synthetic sides to the fingers will expand a little bit … obviously the Kevlar will not. If you have medium-thick fingers, I don't think these gloves will work for you. I will say that if you're going to have Kevlar in your gloves, you certainly can't expect the same mobility that you would get from lighter materials, but Kong needs to rethink their sizing of the finger slots if they want these to sell these and satisfy their customers. If they do that, I would give the glove 4.5 or 5 stars.The sizing if way off. A large was equal to more of a small or medium. They hardly fit my hand.
