I often hike and climb in below freezing temperatures and have purchased every pair of gloves imaginable. They need to hold up to water, dirt, rocks, ice, mud, wind, etc.. and prevent all of the above from ending up inside my sleeves. Having exceptionally small hands makes it extremely difficult to find gloves that actually fit appropriately. I took a chance on these and was not disappointed. After 10 hours in 29 degree weather, my hands were still dry, warm, and clean. After a damp cloth wipe, the gloves looked brand new again. For those who care, they are not touch screen friendly and you'll need to take gloves off for use.
