I have to say, these gloves are well made. They are considered to be sparring gloves so the padding is really thick. The opened palm design is great for grapple and holds and I can see them going the distance with the excellent stitching to the glove. They do require a break-in period, but after a few sessions you should be good. As for the padding itself, remember when it comes to sparring you want a glove that can absorb the hit of the knuckles and NOT your partner. Too soft of the padding can cause some damage and defeats the purpose of safety. Good thing the padding on these gloves are dense enough to absorb those hits you throw. Overall, I'm happy with RingtoCage's product. Highly recommended!
